This Canadian producer had a number of dance hits in the late 70s and early 80s. The biggest of these was Dancer in 1979 however remember in 1982 is seen by some as his seminal work. Became a recluse after the disco boom turned to bust. Stating ‘I saw some disco artists keep going after the disco era, and put out album after album that didn’t sell. I didn’t want to be one of those… I didn’t want to dilute my catalog, my repertoire, in that way.’
