The Hard Rock Cafè, the famous chain of clubs widespread and famous all over the world, are many: colorful, rock, always very crowded and full of clothes, accessories and musical relics.

Do you know what is the real reason for the success of Hard Rock Cafe?

The real reason for its success is its style, its refined furnishings and the immense collection (about 85,000 pieces) of relics of the great myths of international music among which we find: the Beatles, Elvis Plesley, Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison and Freddie Mercury. Among the most illustrious objects on display are the guitars of Paul Stanley, John Lennon, George Harrison, Elvis Presley, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Jimmy Page, Lou Reed, Johnny Cash, Pete Townshend, BB King, the pants of Jim Morrison and Freddie Mercury, stage clothes by Elton John, Madonna and Prince, plus countless drums, gold and platinum records, handwritten sheet music, posters, posters and even two doors, that of the Abbey Road studios and that of number 3 of Savile Road in London, both linked to the Beatles.

Hard Rock Cafe was born as a restaurant chain in 1971 in London. The brand then became famous all over the world thanks to the wide diffusion of the Cafés which are about 149 scattered in 53 countries around the world. The company then decided to create a series of personalized gadgets and souvenirs. You know the famous white t-shirt with the brand and the city of the Hard Rock Cafe where it was bought? It is said to be the best-selling souvenir in the world today with around 10 million T-shirts sold per year. Many of us now have a Hard Rock Cafè t-shirt bought during some trip; it has almost become a must (I won’t hide it too!), that of going for a “little visit” to the local Hard Rock, where you can experience musical and trendy atmospheres.
After forty years of life (just completed) during which it has spread to major European capitals and cities, Hard Rock Cafè lands again in Italy, where it will inaugurate a new office in Florence (in addition to the existing ones in Rome and Venice). In place of the twentieth-century Gambrinus cinema café, in Piazza della Repubblica, stands the Hard Rock café Firenze. It is the media event of the summer.
The official inauguration date is in fact the 4th of July and, for that day, a huge party is scheduled that will see Simple Minds perform in a free concert in Piazza della Repubblica. The opening of the concert was entrusted to the skilled hands of Dj Ringo of Virgin Radio, who will be joined by James Walsh, leader of the English band Starsailor. There will also be a red carpet where, in addition to Mayor Matteo Renzi, Piero Pelù, the president and CEO of Hard Rock International Hamish Dodds and representatives of the Seminole Indian tribe of Florida, owners of the Hard Rock International brand.
A beautiful birthday for a brand that has become a legend in just 40 years.
