They achieved immediate success with \u201cIt Only Takes a Minute,\u201d \u201cHeaven Must Be Missing an Angel,\u201d and \u201cWhodunit,\u201d but their true hit became \u201cMore Than a Woman\u201d from the \u201cSaturday Night Fever\u201d soundtrack\u2014the only \u201cdouble\u201d track, as it was performed by both them and the Bee Gees&#8230; Incredible!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In the following years, they continued to make music, though they never again reached the same level of success as they did during that period.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ralph, Chubby, Pooch, Perry Lee, Tiny, and Butch\u2014known as \u201cTAVARES\u201d\u2014were brothers from Massachusetts who grew up with the music of Cape Verde and Doo Wop.
