“In the 70s? I was often at Banana Moon on Borgo degli Albizi… always dressed in black, in fact the black leather jacket Fonzie-style was a must, and we danced to the music of the Police, the Clash—basically niche music as I call it. Those years were a wonderful, unique period; the friendships I made back then I’ve maintained to this day. Just think, back then I worked security at the stadium for concerts… and I never would have imagined that one day I’d end up managing it for Fiorentina. I remember one evening there was a Claudio Baglioni concert and a girl was begging me in tears for an autograph from the Roman singer… I desperately tried to get that autograph, but Baglioni was always super busy, so in order not to disappoint that girl, I decided to do it myself.”
