The closing evening of the event organized by MEF ‘Electric Renaissance’ was a tailor-made production by I Love Disco, which staged the interpretation of the Electric Renaissance.
A group of selected artists, wearing costumes created for the occasion, accompanied the 500 guests selected by MEF on a journey into the Post-Modern Renaissance.
Handmaidens in Renaissance costumes welcomed guests with a welcome cocktail; the live acoustic and classical violin of ‘Pia,’ a renowned violinist and composer who boasts musical collaborations with Battiato, Pino Daniele, and Lucio Dalla, entertained during dinner. The three-part show by ‘Eva,’ a well-known performer from Chiambretti Night, transported guests into the atmosphere of banquets at the Medici Court. And finally, to electrify the journey into a Post-Modern Renaissance, the DJ set by I Love Disco with lights and a succession of performances by artists and entertainers.
The Alcatraz hall at the Leopolda in Florence was completely transformed by the ‘Light Show’ of Felice Limosani, a renowned and eclectic artist who enriched the evening with an animated Venus and highly evocative light displays.
