A night of music and magic in Piazza XXIV Maggio

On Friday, August 29, Piazza XXIV Maggio (Spazio Agorà) in Marina di Pietrasanta was transformed into a stage under the stars. Lights, glitter, shimmering costumes, and the unmistakable energy of disco music created a vibrant atmosphere.
Hundreds of people filled the square from the early evening, drawn by the promise of a unique experience and the curiosity to discover the new DISCOLINE, the absolute star of the event.

The audience, made up of residents, tourists, and loyal DiscoLovers, experienced a concentration of emotions, dance, and entertainment. The entire area was designed to evoke the aesthetics of the fabulous seventies, from the colors to the sets, while maintaining the genuine energy that has always characterized I Love Disco.

The Disco Parade: the route that lights up the city

The evening kicked off with the Disco Parade, a musical and choreographed parade that wound through the city’s main street before reaching the central square.
The spirit of DISCOLINE was immediately felt: the procession drew in onlookers, families, and enthusiasts, turning the streets of Marina di Pietrasanta into a colorful and rhythmic flow.

From 9:30 PM until midnight, the audience danced non-stop, celebrating the essence of disco culture: freedom, expression, sharing, and movement. DISCOLINE immediately showed its nature: an experience where the spectator is never passive but becomes an active part of the show.

The official debut of DISCOLINE: a new chapter for I Love Disco

The highlight of the evening was the official launch of DISCOLINE By I Love Disco, which Gigio Petrucci presented to the audience, explaining the vision and intent behind this new format.

“With the new DISCOLINE, we want to offer an immersive and modern experience, bringing back the magic of the fabulous seventies in a new and engaging way,” said Petrucci.
“We chose Pietrasanta because here, in 2009, we experienced an unforgettable night on the Pier. Returning after 16 years with DISCOLINE, and doing so with a free event open to everyone, means a lot to us.”

The new DISCOLINE represents a bridge between past and future: it preserves the soul and style of original disco music but reinterprets them with new technologies, new concepts, and new ways of engaging the audience.

• DJ Isabella Centaro, a cornerstone of I Love Disco and the musical soul of DISCOLINE, responsible for an energetic sound selection rich in references to the seventies.

• Ricky_s, the famous vocalist from the Romagna Riviera, who guided the audience through an explosive evening with his voice and stage presence.

Thanks to DISCOLINE, every song became a moment of spectacle, every performance a fragment of disco history reinterpreted in a contemporary way.
