THE THREE DEGREES

From Philadelphia… “Gee Baby” was already on the charts in 1965! As full-fledged representatives of the Philly Sound within that flourishing context of innovation and ideas, they began with disco hits like “Year of Decision,” “When Will I See You Again?,” and “Take Good Care of Yourself,” in addition to participating and collaborating with TSOP and MFSB.

At the end of the decade, they joined Giorgio Moroder’s camp, producing “Giving Up, Giving In” and “Woman in Love” together.

Incredibly long-lived, even if more low-profile, they reappeared on the British charts in 1985 with “The Heaven I Need.” It seems they are still producing… but we have lost track of them.
