Yes indeed, the artists behind “You and I” were British… They achieved considerable success, particularly in their home country, in 1976 with their first album, but garnered their greatest acclaim in 1979 with the album “Eau de vie,” with which they literally hit the jackpot, only to then fade into obscurity and disband.
