How can Opera meet disco music?
Sacred and profane, classical versus transgression, rules against revolution… I Love Disco brought together two opposites of music, two completely distant lifestyles. The result was among the best: DISCO OPERA, an inimitable success.
A show that featured on stage the gospel choir LIGHT FLORENCE CHOIR, Nadyne Rush and her tribute to Donna Summer, Anastasia Boldyreva, the mezzo-soprano who sang Carmen on a ’70s base, created exclusively for the event by Sandiford and Stefano De Donato. The incredible and very young GAGA SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA, directly from Italia’s Got Talent, and the unmissable DJ set by I Love Disco, with Simone Fanfani, Enrico Tagliaferri and Isabella Centaro.
So many emotions and surprises left the discolovers speechless, this time all dressed in total white to complement the beauty of the Cavea of the Nuovo Teatro dell’Opera di Firenze, an exclusive and evocative location.
