STUDIO 55 – The Club That Doesn’t Exist, But Everyone Wants
STUDIO 55 left its mark.
It was not an easy promise to keep.
For one night only, Florence experienced something it had never experienced before. A new, powerful, shared energy. An idea that became reality. The Mandela Forum was transformed into a grand international club: elegant, vibrant, immersive.
Not a nightclub. Not a concert. But a total experience.
STUDIO 55 did not simply surprise: it engaged, captivated, united. An extraordinary audience in style, presence, and energy filled the space with beauty, freedom, and connection.
Inspired by the revolutionary spirit of Studio 54, STUDIO 55 was not a replica, but an evolution. It took that iconic imagery and rewrote it in the present, making it alive, pulsating, contemporary. The dance floor was not something to watch: it was a place to inhabit. The audience did not witness the show: they were the show.
The musical heart of the evening made all the difference.
The live show by the Florence Pop Orchestra, conducted by Carlo Chiarotti, the band led by Stefano De Donato, and the voices of Carmen Ferreri, Morgana Siddi, Gerard Malanca, and Stefano Ferraro – exceptionally united under the name I Love Disco Unlimited Orchestra – merged with the ’70s–’80s–’90s DJ sets by Isa DJ, Enrico Tagliaferri, and Luca Gabe, creating a continuous flow between live sound and original groove.
An overwhelming dialogue amplified by the voice and energy of vocalist Ricky S, who accompanied and ignited the dance floor throughout the night.
Around this pulsating heart, the ILD Crew and an incredible group of professional dancers – choreographed by Spillo and led by the extraordinary Martina Miliddi – transformed the dance floor into a collective stage. Making everything even more special was the participation of Tuscan dance schools, who set the floor on fire dancing alongside the professionals to the I LOVE DISCO theme: Kinesis Contemporary Dance Company and Angelo Egarese, Florence Dance, Scuola Tacco Punta and Mady Paredes, Progetto Danza Prato, and One Ballet.
Elegance, conscious transgression, meticulous attention to detail. Nothing was excessive, nothing left to chance. Even time had its perfect balance: an intense, concentrated celebration, capable of being memorable without the need for excess.

STUDIO 55 demonstrated that there is another way to experience the night: more balanced, more authentic, more human. Entertainment that places well-being, quality of experience, and genuine connection between people at its center. A true community, made up of different generations united by the same desire to dance together, without barriers.
When the lights dimmed and the music stopped, a clear and shared feeling remained: something special had just happened.
Not just a successful event, but an experience capable of leaving an emotional, cultural, human mark.
STUDIO 55 has passed. But what it created remains.
A club that does not exist in reality. But which, for one night, was exactly the place where everyone wanted to be.
