TEMPTATIONS

They were already famous and appreciated in the ’60s. Soul, R&B, as they perform it, few can match, and the public recognizes this, but in ’72, with “Papa was a rolling stone,” they reached their peak and their decline. Having already released around twenty albums, several of which reached the top ten, they produced this track which was granted almost an “archaeological” recognition regarding the origins of true Disco Music.

Paradoxical but true, they would never manage to express themselves again, gradually disappearing from the scene.
